Description
A record of all vagrants, prisoners held for trial, and convicts. Not all registers have all three sections. Vagrant column information: name, number assigned, when committed and by whom, and discharge date. Column information for prisoners awaiting trial: name, number assigned, crime, date committed and by whom, bail, court sentence, action, date discharged. Convict column information: name, number assigned, crime, date committed and by whom, date of sentence, sentence, expedition of sentence and by whom, and discharge date. Volumes starting 1945-1949 included expanded prisoner profile information (finger prints taken, physical profile, etc.). Some volumes are divided into separate sections for vagrants, prisoners awaiting trial, and convicts
