Description
Burial record assembled during or after 1939 as a PA Works Progress Administration Project (WPA) showing veteran's name, branch of service and length of service, military record, birth and death dates, name and location of cemetery, type of marker, name of informer, and date information secured on forms prescribed by the Department of Military Affairs. A letter and number code is used to correspond with maps in the Veterans Grave Registration Maps. Note 1: a copy is on loan to the Cumberland County Historical Society.
Arrangement: Alphabetical by township and borough and thereunder alphabetical by cemetery. Surnames of individual soldiers listed alphabetically within each cemetery with any additions at the end of that cemetery's section.
