An index by defendant's name to cases in the Appearance Dockets. Information includes names of defendant and plaintiff and court year, term, and case number. Note 1: "Adsectum" is often used on the docket spine. Note 2: This index continues as "Adsectum Index Suits". Note 3: Many of the Ad Sectam series have been labeled as "Adsectum" by the Prothonotary's Office since the late 1700s.
Arrangement: Alphabetical groupings by defendant's surname and within chronologically by court year, term, and case number.
