Description
Official certification from the Surveyor General (State Land Office) to the Prothonotary verifying that a lien held by the Commonwealth against a county resident “has been liquidated by the payment of the purchase money, interest and fees” paid to the State Treasurer. Information includes name of warrantee, location (in municipality as of date of being satisfied) and description (acres/perches) of the tract, name of person making payment; and date of certificate. Warrant or application number is sometimes present. Filing side includes name of warrantee, location and description of tract, filing date, and location reference in the Lien Docket of Unpatented Lands 1864-1899.
