Description
Fiduciary accounts pertaining to Estates. Executors' and Administrators' accounts show the estate number; date filed, names of decedent and fiduciary; itemized list of assets, liabilities, receipts, expendentures, and balance; dates examined and approved; and official seals and signatures. These are the last accounts for the Orphans' Court to confirm for any estate distribution or closure.
Note 1: Documents marked "MISSING" can be actually missing or had been removed for an Orphans' Court Case, Writs of Partitions, Remittiturs, etc. and not re-filed or a Removal Slip placed in its filing slot.
Note 2: In addition to the account's filing number, other numbers may appear at the top of the document's administrative cover page. These usually refer on the left side to the Docket number and on the right side the page number in the Docket.
Note 3: Speadsheet column "OCD.pg" indicates the volume number and page number where recorded in the Orphans' Court Docket. "Adocket.pg" indicates the volume number and page where recorded in the Administrator's Docket.
Note 4: Years covered in the Administration Dockets are in the column marked "Adocket Years" for the first entry of that volume number. At a various number in each alphabet the recording location in Dockets is not longer entered, especially 1890-1940.
Arrangement: Alphabetical and therein numerical (mostly reflecting chronological recording in Dockets).
Index: Orphans' Court Volume: 1. INDEX TO ADMINISTRATION ACCOUNTS
