Description
Annual and quarterly financial reports of the Sheriff's expenses submitted to the county. Information includes dates the report covers, name of Sheriff, itemized list of expenses (boarding expenses of each prisoner/vagrant, court services, jail supplies, gas and water expenses, etc.), and total. Also found in this series are a few early expense lists by the "Keeper of the Penitentiary" and one list includes expenses for "soldiers." Some reports are titled "Boarding Bill" or "Boarding List."
