Description
Sheriff's Deed Polls resulting from the sale of property sold by the Sheriff by a writ(s) of execution (Fiera Facias, Venditoni Exponsas, etc.). Information includes names of sheriff, land purchaser, and plaintiff or defendant whose land was sold; date of execution of the deed; location and description of the property purchased ofen including information about adjacent property owners ; amount paid for the property, court year, term and case number for the Fiera Facias case; date court acknowledged the deed transfer, and receipt of payment. Additional information sometimes is present, such as Exceptions filed. These Deed Polls were not claimed by the land purchaser and remain in county custody.
Arrangement: Chronological by year and therein alphabetical by land purchaser.
