Series Details:


Required record (1850 PA Law 569) of all accounts of assignees, trustees, sequestrators, and committees submitted to the courts regarding cases over unpaid debts or bankruptcy. Information includes court year/term/case #; names of parties (individual, as well as businesses, companies, banks, etc.) and fiduciaries; value of estate (often with itemized inventories); receipts, expenditures, and balances; dates of accounting report filed and action(s) by the court. Reports of auditors on the accounting reports mentioned above are also included for many cases.

Arrangement: Chronological by Court term, but some volumes include back log cases prior to the volumes establishment.
