Physicians' certifications of deaths as ordered by 1852 PA Law Section 2 (and repealed by 1855 PA Law.) Information includes name of deceased with color, sex, and age, name of deceased father and mother, occupation of deceased, place of birth, name of wife if deceased, name of husband if deceased, date of birth and death, cause of death, place (town or township) where person died, place of burial, and physician's name and signature (often with residence).
