Description

Petitions for military pensions submitted by veterans of the American Revolutionary War or their widows with specific reference to the March 18, 1818 Act of Congress. Information in these affadavits usually include name, age, residence, and occupation of veteran; veteran's war service, former military rank, and pension number; schedule of real and personal property; description of any physical disability and, in most cases, some family information.

Arrangement: Chronological by court year and term and then sequential by case number.
