Description

Application (petition) to the Register of Wills to authorize an administrator of an intestate estate (an estate without a will) to settle the estate. Information on printed forms includes name of decedent; decedent's residence and death date (and sometimes citizenship information); filing date and number; names of relatives, their relationship to the deceased, and their residence; and an estimated value of the estate with the location of any real estate sometimes indicated. Note 1:After 1961 Letters of Administration filed with Estate Records.

Arrangement: Alphabetical by surname of decedent and therein by filing number corresponding with chronological filing date.
