Description
Accounting record of delinquent taxes on unseated lands showing owner’s or warrantee’s name, municipality, number of acres (often with a location and description of the property), year taxes due, amount, and, in some cases, type of tax, payments with amount and date, and any treasurer’s sale information. Note 1: The "Decliquent Taxes Unseated Land 1783-1798 under Treasurer's Papers is probably the basis for the formal Ledger C in this series - not yet found.
Arrangement: Varies. Some volumes are chronological groupings by year and within by municipalities arranged alphabetically or arranged by taxpayer accounts. Some volumes arranged chronologically by year intervals and thereunder by municipality, but not alphabetically.
Index: If exists, alphabetical groupings by surname of taxpayer with page references.
