Description
A summary record of all civil suits instituted and appeals brought before the Court of Common Pleas. Information usually includes names of parties and attorneys, type of case, and sometimes identifies types of instruments filed and action taken. Many non-numbered matters include Insolvent Debtors, Deed Polls, Attorney Oaths and Appointments, Trustee Appointments and Orders, and Naturalizations.
Note 1: A finding aid for unnumbered entries is available for 1765…1807. Note 2: This series continues as "Suits".
Arrangement: Chronological by court year, term, and case number.
